Yep feels more snug and is loosening up somewhat. Just been shopping in asda in it and i was the most overdressed individual in there lol

Yeah, that’s a common reaction to wearing a vintage-fit jacket for the first time. Early 20th Century clothing was just more fitted than what most of us wear today.

Definitely more snug. It’ll settle quite nicely in the next few weeks i reckon.

And I know it may feel snug now, but give it time. It takes a while to adjust to wearing clothing of this type.

Working my G-1 in today, most over dressed man in Southern England, cold water treatment here, a quick spray on the lining carefully avoiding knits, 1 T shirt, two seat shirts, G-1 over the top and then a long walk in the sun....

yeah i think so but not by much. i definitely noticed the back wasn't bloused out as much.

That’s probably a good thing. Some blousing in the back is good, but a little goes a long way.

after reading through that thread i'm ordering one of these next! i'm just waiting for my cooper g1 to come back with new cuffs and waistband but the only issue is that jacket is a 44 and fits a bit baggy like this did. there's no way on earth that jacket is going anywhere near the bath or tumble dryer lol
