Without doubt size 40. It’s a nailed WWII fit. Don’t waist time thinking about the size 42 it’s a no go.
How come you have two? Can you order and send back for a refund if it does not fit.

It's a very old thread, I sent back the 42 and sold the 40 since then, happier with my Dubow now

Waiting for a BK 27752. Then whichever fits better I'll keep. But the RW will have a hard time beating my Dubow which has broken in and started to fit like a glove.
