As the jacket breaks in, the sleeves often develop some wrinkles and creases at the elbow. The sleeves should automatically shorten some with use over time. This is more common with horsehide, but the outer part of the sleeve could be horsehide (or cow).

That looks good, especially as you probably hoinked your jeans up for the pic and if they are modern cut they will drop as you walk about ..there is nothing worse than a jacket that’s to short and your constantly pulling up your trousers and trying to pull the jacket down!

Jacket looks fine. Only the sleeves would ever be a factor for myself. Wrist bend is a fraction too long for personal preference...

I think it’s spot on-I’d pull the waist adjusters in a hole, but that’s it. When it’s freezing (‘Artic blast’ currently forecast), you’ll be glad of every inch of extra length in cuffs and waist-and you’d curse the lack of them if it was too short. Love that AAF cap.

Exactly why I love wearing my Levi 1901 special edition as they have suspender buttons, have high waisted denim also, vintage jackets not made to go with modern low waist pants
