Me too, B-Man2...me too.

Thanks for posting those. Really like the jacket but that back length measurement kills it for me . Listed at 25 but I was hoping that maybe it would be on the longer side of 25 . I see that’s not the case.

Got my jacket today, ordered end of August, found Platon to be good to deal with, he turns out an impressive product for the money. Really happy, went up a size based on research here.

Overall the cut and fit are spot on for a ww2 patern. The hide is great can’t wait to break it in. Measures as shown, gotta go by the measurements, my aero bronco is a 44 measures almost the same.

Is that russet...?

I hope one day he makes tall versions. I’m 6’ and I’d like a Skosh more length in most regular A-2’s. But to be honest if I wear my pants at the right spot it’s fine. Most mil spec flight jackets sit that way on me. Had an alpha MA-1 on today and it sits at the waist the same.

If you take the A-2 waist too low it doesn’t look like a mil spec WW-2 replica it looks like a mall jacket.

Just my thoughts.

You are spot on about the length. And i am the same height as you. The problem is that in the 1930’s and ‘40’s they wore their pants so darned high! And did you ever notice how short their neckties were? If you wear your A-2 with modern jeans, which usually ride pretty low, a period correct A-2 will look terribly short if it is a trim fit. (I don’t personally care for the trim fit look. Just my taste.) I am 6’ and wear 43R suit coat. I would go with at least a size 46 from Platon based on all the photos and messurements the folks here have shared. Thanks all!

I love the photos of their russet A-2. But I wonder why Dubow does not have any photos of their seal brown jacket on the web site. I wrote to them to ask.

I wrote to Platon earlier today and he already answered! He told me they have no professional photos of the seal brown like the photos his has of the russet on the web page, but he sent me these photos. I apologize if you have already seen these.

Perhaps I ask it here.
Gentlemen, tell me please, does this jacket have deep or "shirt" armholes of the sleeves? How comfortable with a thick sweater?
