Well, all I know is that you can't have your 80/20 pudding if you don't eat your meat!i want some pudding in my %80 proof vodka....or it that %80 proof in my pudding? oh crap, now im confused, too much proof in the pudding, or some such.
comments like e.g. "this doesn't look like our vicenza" that are not backed with evidence. Cause that's pure slandering.
If you can take it, DNA test it and then say it's not vicenza, then I am with you. Do you have the balls?
See, Nathan posts a nice request for us here, and it took how long to ignore it?you want to get technical?
Since Ole is from Greece maybe he can visit the shop and give us the straight dope.
I always wondered what became of Shergar !
We've put a lot of thought into figuring out the potential options regarding how to handle a vendor posting on VLJ, and have come to a consensus.
VLJ has always had a very "hands-off" moderation, and we believe that this approach has served the forum well over the years. We simply demand mutual respect and civility in exchange for participation. The expertise and knowledge shared by our vendors is a net positive for the board, and we want to encourage it (though in the case of John, I'm guessing he might not participate as much as he could because he'd be hit with a litany of replies like "WHY ARE YOU POSTING AND NOT SEWING??" [emoji6] ).
Manufacturers such as Ken, Diamond Dave, John, and any others are welcome to post in any area of VLJ, to share their knowledge/opinions regarding jackets, leather, sewing, the business, other vendors, etc., so long as as they are being civil, and not saying anything considered libelous in the USA.
If you disagree with a poster's opinion, say so. Rebut their assertion if you like, but do it with civility and tact. We expect them to treat you the same in return. We all are capable of disagreement without being vindictive or ugly to each other.
If somebody is really just driving you crazy, use the board's "ignore" feature. You can find it by clicking on their name to bring up their profile, and hitting the "ignore user" link. I think you'll find it makes your day a lot more enjoyable.
P.S., if John does post any, please don't harass him. Yes, he has a long wait for jackets, but he still deserves downtime like anybody else.
