In the thread about the Polo M-421 you start talking about Aero Leather's sizing system
Firstly I have to say I loved Butte's post........"OTOH, it sure is fun watching the kids push each other off of the swings."
My God, Smithy, you ARE scraping the barrel now
If you'd read the M421 thread properly you'd see there was some confusion about ordering the right size from USA
I've got one on order, so have several other members.
The size chart was my way of helping members avoid costly returns on an item that was virtually sold out.
No idea how this all snowballed, when I first posted here you were one of the friendlier members, for some reason you took umbrage to me taking ELC's side in the price increase thread, that seems to have set you off on the increse of price of the Aero A-2 v. Asian made A-2s and it was all downhill from there on when I defended the increase.
I've got knowlegde built up since starting in this trade at Bally in 1961, I'm happy to share this but I'd also be quite happy to bugger off elsewhere if I'm offending you.
May I suggest you start a Member's poll on VLJ "Should he stay or should he go?" I'll happily abide by the verdict. I've no problem with democracy, I don't want to hang around anywhere I'm not welcome
Thx, NO.. have never had any other jacket from them and surely will never have another one...Pilot,
I would jump on that in a heartbeat if it were my size. It’s a nice jacket.
Have you ever had their victory horsehide?
In EU certificates of provenance and origin can be enforced by tribunals...Just noticed, I must have some approval here based on the respective Likes to Posts ratio
Mine is 87%,
Smithy's is 75%,
Roughwear's (suprisingly) is only 10%
.......and as Dubow/Greece claim to be using (Aero's) Vicenza (endorsed by Smithy) surely I'm entitled to draw attention the lack of similarities of the Vizenza sourced leather used by the two companies? No?
Did you guys just order your regular size, or did you discuss sizes with Platon?
I just want the place to remain civil and get as much info as possible. I like makers contributing, as long as it's not detrimental to others...
On the contrary, I think we should let vendors try to trash another maker or their goods. Let them say what they think. There's where real info is.
But not comments like e.g. "this doesn't look like our vicenza" that are not backed with evidence. Cause that's pure slandering.
If you can take it, DNA test it and then say it's not vicenza, then I am with you. Do you have the balls?
