It's not the way used by Yoyo in the Catch 22 TV show.
But as @Edward already told, there is not way to attache it as Yoyo did, without disassembling the chain from the binding, and again, you need a chain that is fine enough to pass through the small hole.

I knew there were all sizes but I always looked for the small ones that were dated . And my wife would also stuff mine with tissue to stop it from ringing .

Recently picked up another Capri Bell that came with this cool original pamphlet printed in English and Italian. Love the sales pitch: "Be careful, this is the only true Lucky Little Bell...'".

Good evening everyone. I found this conversation just now.
I signed up to reply.
I have two bells and I think they date back to the second war. I bought them on ebay. one comes from England and was sold together with a RAF scarf. I attach the photos

Per ora li sto solo mostrando. Ho cercato a lungo la brochure che è stata data con esso.
Ho provato a contattare un produttore sull'isola di Capri che all'epoca produceva già campanelli ma non mi ha risposto.

Non so che valore possano avere. Sono entrambi in argento.
