In my experienced experience, unfortunately, WWII sweaters, typically, don’t hold up well, at this point in time. There must be some shelf life on knitted wool as I’ve had the same experience with scarves that are also mint. Once you clean them and think you’ll be able to use them, out of nowhere, a small hole (or two) will suddenly appear.

I asked Gary if they had plans do produce a C-2, but he said not at this time. I believe they used to make one years ago.

These look more substantial than I thought, though I do think they are expensive for what they are- a zip up cardigan with a single pocket.

I am now a very happy bunny after finding an immaculate original C2 (?) No label is the only snag , but it does have the correct zipper "Waldes Kover "

They are different thats for sure ! Had me confused for a short while as i hadnt seen one before !

Great find Carl! I agree the Kover Zips used on the C-2 are so cool. Here's a couple detail pics of my C-2. It's marked a size 46 but fits much more like a sz 42.

Some knit pulls in the wrists but pretty good for the price. I only took a peek at Yahoo because of the post. Gave up thinking I would get a cheapy years ago until I read this. 'Membership DOES have its privileges'.

Yes, different zipper makers. Also notice the zipper teeth on my C2 is brass and yours appears to be nickel.
