Black liberty HH currently showing on backorder - has anyone found out how long this may be?

Seems like they're in hibernation. No activity on their website since early July. Neither on their FB site.

FWIW I've tried contacting them via FB, but they'll just refer to their sales adress by an automated reply.

@mulceber and @Greg Gale does the order-status on their site ever change from "processing" to something else?

After enquiring on the status via FB messenger BK had told me about two weeks ago that my jacket was supposed to be shipped "next week", which would have been last week. No status-update on their page, no email with a tracking-ID or a shipping-confirmation so far.

That was my experience as well. I don’t think the status ever changed.

The Star has arrived last week and I'm very happy with it.
The leather is very soft.

The Star's cut is very comfortable with the roomy upper torso/ shoulders, despite being rather trim around the waist and lower body.
Certainly one of the more comfortable contracts.

What's amazing about those golden brown knits is they're looking rather normal mid-brown'ish in the house, but as soon as there's natural light, they're forming a very distinct contrast with the seal jacket.

Took pretty close to 10 months from the day I put down the order till it was delivered.
Took an additional week for me to drive to my old folks' place to pick it up.

At the end it's just like you guys said - you'll be waiting a long time, going for a ride on an emotional rollercoaster.
But in the end, BK's jackets are great and the waiting time will vanish from your memory eventually.
