nope, haven't said anything to me
OK, not the thread for ....nope, haven't said anything to me
I read somewhere that this jacket is studio made and not a contract jacket. The collar looks too big.Bob Crane and Frank.
Yes I know it’s not a studio jacket.
But if Frank Sinatra who wore the jacket during the filming of Von Ryan’s Express can wear it and then it has a starring role in Hogan’s Heroes, it works for me.

Jimmy Stewart was 6'1" but skinny so a size 40 looks way short on him.I think what makes Stewart so cool is that he didn’t just wear the jacket as a fashion piece, he wore it for real.. He lived it. He put it all on the line, many times over. As did a few other celebs .

I was referring to the Bob Crane Hogan's Heroes jacket.Hi Spitfireace
That’s not exactly correct. He may have had a Hollywood jacket later in his movie career, but he wore a issued Rough Wear 1401p contract A2 jacket pictured below, which is currently in the Wright Patterson AFB Museum.

Yup Jimmy didn't get out of his duty as some others might have. He was a hero, he didn't shirk duty.Hi Spitfireace
