That looks like Shawn’s seal to me. In the pictures he posted online, his seal color looked about right for a Great Escape jacket.

That’s a great looking DuBow . Its difficult to tell from your photos but is the color of your jacket dark seal ? In the 2nd photo it looks a little like it’s black. Looking forward to seeing your fit pictures .

It must be Seal brown I think in Shawn's photo there is a color distortion (when the jacket arrives I will try to take a photo with the real color)

I received my jacket today!
4 days from Pakistan to Italy!
The quality of the leather and tailoring is gorgeous!
The skin is thin and elastic. In the light it has a brownish tint.
I deviated from the standard a little Shawn made me, at my request, side pockets and an inner pocket.
Maybe it was necessary to make the shoulders 48 and not 50 cm, but I decided to play it safe and ordered a 50 cm shoulder
I am very pleased with the jacket, I made myself a gift for my 50th birthday

I took a size 48 jacket, at my request they increased my shoulder to 50 cm (maybe I didn't need to ) and shortened the sleeve to 65cm (maybe it was necessary to leave the dimensions as in the table )
My height is 168cm and weight is 93 kg.

Is it 1mm or 1mm2 you can check the thickness inside the pocket . i have to make up my mind between a Bill Kelso Dubow and a Five star Dubow So it will be helpfull.

dude, that is exciting ! If it’s thin and malleable it’s probably more akin to many originals.

I tried to take a picture
I have pieces of all three types of skin, red skin is thicker, but also elastic.
It is probably best to check with Shavn for the thickness of the skin.

Thanks! I've gotta say, I think the russet and the mid-brown look stunning. Seal brown's nice too - it all depends on what colors you like.

Well, it's accurate to almost any A-2 contract that had a depot re-dye. It's a bit dark for the original color of most A-2 jackets, including the 27752 (at least to my eye, looking at it through a computer screen), but it'll look perfect for a Great Escape A-2.
