Sounds to me like Ken is really trying to get the company back on track, and his daughter Holly couldn't be more involved than she is-she seems a shining example of customer service.

I love my Aero utility jackets, as well as my A-2 (though some deride the authenticity of their repros) and have always respected Ken. He took his time discussing things with me when I ordered, as well as doing a fantastic restoration of my G&F M422a. It was a wreck when I sent it in, with green paint all over one sleeve, and it came back totally restored, and you could tell so much passion went in to it.

I am glad to see that Ken's back for now, though it seems a rather sad turn of events that he needs to pause his retirement to get HIS company back on track. It seems that his family really cares about the business, and the satisfaction of their customers, and I wish them all the best.

I'm sure Aero lost a "few" sales over this from people who didn't know them well or were new and might have got spooked. But Aero/Ken/Lydia/Holly have done a very good job turning a really strange series of reversals around 180 degrees, and may be better off because of it in the long run. They came in, cleaned it up, came clean(that we know of) about the issues and offered to help out some people who lost quite a bit of cash for Jackets they thought they had ordered from Aero.

Their reputation for Great Leather, well made products, and now straight up customer support will carry them through this I feel.
