Hi guys,

Just looking over the jackets I have, and thought I'd make a list of what I have, what are keepers, and what may be out the door at some point. What do you all have?

My keepers:

GW A-1, RMCNZ Roughwear, Aero A-2 (custom "RealDeal"), Aero Highwayman, Aero KOTR, DD J24, G&F M422a (restored by Aero about 10 yrs ago)

My possible sales jackets:

The Few A-1, German(?) leather tank jacket (not sure-John Lever would know), ELC Hartmann

Jackets I remember selling/giving away:

LW A-2, ELC G-1, RMCJP A-2, RMCNZ "Red" Roughwear, RMCNZ Monarch, ELC Aero contract A-2, Buco J24 (don't get me started on this-was a sz 36-38, too small for me eventually, but I wore it unzipped for a while before giving it away-was my father's), RMCNZ Dubow, Unnamed contract A-2, etc....for every one I remember, there's probably 3 I don't...

Through the years I have owned many repros, some originals, and have owned at one time jackets from all of the major players out there. I started with an Avirex G1 approximation (with genuine faux-fur detachable collar!) which I wore so much the liner disintegrated, moved on to the "proper" repros, and have lately settled on the motorcycle jackets that I wore in my youth. It's a great hobby in that you can stoke your interest in many different directions, but in the end, it all comes down to the cool jackets...

Chris

Gotta update this:

The ELC Hartmann and The Few A-1 have both been sold! Thanks guys! (and this without actually offering either for sale!)
The tanker jacket is likely made from Elk hide, and is Swedish (all thanks to John Lever for the info-I had forgotten our discussions). That one is simply too big for me (probably a sz 50 or something).

...and I have an ELC Roadstar on the way...

Since I didn't want to embarrass Andrew, I was not planning on posting this. Given the give-away hoopla, here is my short list:

GW Acme/Aero 16160 Seal HH size 42
GW Rough Wear 27752 Seal HH size 42

I also have an A-1 on order from Mark Fisher.

What I lack in flight jackets, however, I make up in guitars:

Gibson SG Standard with harp tailpiece (c. 1964)
Gretsch 6120 (Brian Setzer model)
Rickenbacker 381/12V69
Guild Starfire
Fender Stratocaster (American made 1982)
Guild G41-NT (acoustic)
Gibson C-1 Classical
Fender plank steel string
Harmony Rocket
Seagull Grand (acoustic)
Yamaha Bass

Speaking of collections. and much to my wife's chagrin, I also have the entire 24 book "yellow spine" Hardy Boys canon.
