Hi guys, new here.
I’m restoring a lw Foster MIL-7823(AER) jacket …knits and hem are already received from Japan waiting to send to a professional taylor among the zipper which was changed for a Talon that looks to be size 8 , I found a Commar Size #5 on eBay but it looks small to me. My question is .Is that the correct size for that Jacket?
Thanks.
Really nice forum.
Chers ,Frank.

Hmm JC might have them.
Would this combo not work? Just swap the pull over to the tape. It would be a brass zip on an aluminum chain...not sure if that's problematic.

Edit...nevermind...that's an M49 in my link. You need an M55. I'd grab an M55 off of a trashed K-2B flightsuit and place it on that aluminum chain if that's kosher.
Crapola! I missed that the tapes were sold out. :(
Use gun bluing to color the chain black
