i'm 57, i just started a new position as GM of a company and i f...in' wear leather or whatever i want where- and whenever i want without listening to some stupid youngsters (ok - sometimes i listen to the "missus" but noone else and she ain't a youngster anyway ...)

I’m also 57 and this outfit looks great! This to me has a timeless refined edginess and is pretty much what I wear.

A lot of what Ashley and her neutered partner say is “age-appropriate” is based on dated and biased ideas of how men…especially older men should look. I’m probably old enough to be their parents, so they need to take several seats to the back.

I must admit that my wife does not share my love for leather jackets, etc..but I try not to think about it))) although it's not that simple..In my environment, no one dresses like that, I think they are already used to me, at first they were interested)))

it has happened to me lately, while wearing my various shearlings, a few times that young (so about 20-25 years) in passing said "cool jacket".
Shearling Seems to be popular with the kids. lol

Most young people around where I live wear sportswear but don’t do any exercise..that video…that Red blouse..will stick to my leather jackets.

What about Old Jackets being worn by young men? Should we avoid that also?

Personally I don’t dress to impress anyone other than myself. If I’m happy with what I’m wearing then the world is dandy. If someone younger than me thinks I look stupid they are welcome to be ignorant of how I the wearer enjoys my jacket. In time they might just be sneaking a peak at a forum such as this wondering how they can get their hands on a decent A2 etc. And they will be more than welcome.
