If anyone is interested, I have an original 1942 dated pair of Marine Corp Roughout Boondocks, that I would consider selling.
The only stipulation is that you have to have a size 12.5 D foot.

Nice boots, I too have a pair of these. Bought a few years ago. Very well made but quite heavy.

No more expensive than the Red Wing Hawthorne Blacksmiths ( which i have), more exclusive and period accurate And they'll only get better with wear Steve

Huberds shoe grease Burt. It's what comes with the boots.
As Steve mentioned, dubbin is probably as good or better.
Tones the original colour down and should make them less of a sponge.
Further photos and thoughts as they get more wear.
