ThanksWell done !Your jacket needed a little bit of care it does not look bad either!
I don't quite understand the leaving stuff? bit like only doing 75% of a puzzle why would you not put the last few pieces in? Everyone on here recommends Byson for repairs, Byson say the main zip is shot and needs replacing therefor how can I do any further damage trying to repair it? A few have suggested the best thing to do with this jacket apart from don't wear it, don't hang it, don't treat it, don't try and fix it etc was to put it in a box in a dark cupboard and never look at it again. If that's the case what's it matter what I do with it as it'll never be seen again I really don't get this line of thought?Looks good and I think the jacket needed it, certainly looks like the other stuff can be left especially if your not interested in
wearing it
Many thanks, the zipper tape I had after getting the Vernier out shows the teeth are set at a slightly different distance apart. My spare is no good.Quite sure that if you ask Shawn @5 stars he will be able to get new repros zipper tapes ans sliders he has some reproduction ones for the Irvin jacket they got in their production. Guess that it worth asking!....
