Wow, makes me wish I hadn't just chucked mine int he trash (which after I pulled the trigger on my GW, the next time I noticed it occupying space that could be used for a book).

It's worth noting that old catalogues are often of interest and worth money if the item itself is collectable.

The Golden book is actually a bit of a design classic in itself. A very clever and expensive marketing tool before the internet really took over.
I've got an Aero catalogue from the same period that is more typical and it's atrociously bad.

I sold a 8 page Peugeot 406 coupe brochure to a guy in Japan recently for £28. The sort of thing people throw away and are now rare.
If you have a garage full of stuff collected over the years it soon adds up to real money.

Crikey, Ive got that and even older Eastman stuff like a folder with all the leather, shearling, lining and knit samples! I've even got actual photo prints of the early A2's that Gary used to send out before he produced anything fancy!!
Think I'll hang on to 'em now!!!

Cheers

A HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN QUID??? For the Golden Book? Ay Caramba! I've still got mine, and the previous folder version with the leather samples. Fair play to you, if somebody is prepared to pay that amount, then best of British to them, but I have to say that figure astounds me.

I gave my Golden Book to a forum member last year and just charged them for the shipping.

Bingo, just sold another one using second chance offer

The folder versions aren't worth much. I've dug one out of the garage and will list after Easter and include the rather impressive ELC patch catalogue.
