Best truck in the world for oldass me. 2007 Toyota Tacoma- no electric windows, door locks, no gizmos of any sort. Manual transmission, 4 wheel drive- I was told by an auto dealer that it's the preferred truck of the Mexican cartels! I've had many pickup trucks in my life- including some classic Fords and Chevys but this guy beats 'em all IMO.

I was going for a '67 GT-350 look. Eleanor was built on a '67 GT-500, so there's a lot of similarities.

Speaking of which, we just made it back home from a Sunday afternoon drive in the T-Bird. Daily driver is the 2020 white crewcab 4x4 F-150 Lariat that's outside the passenger window.

Yep, mine will be off the road now until spring. Just starting it up each week and pulling out the garage and back again to keep everything moving and stop the ethanol even in E5 slowly eating stuff, even though everything has been purchased or made ethanol proof..

Ah ethanol, hmmm. I only use E5 and add neutraliser to the tank when laid up over winter yet the modern, ethanol safe, diaphragms in the rebuilt fuel pump gave up the ghost back in September. Fortunately I was not far from home so was able to nurse it back to base, albeit very slowly. Stripping it down I found the multi layer, ethanol safe diaphragm had perished and split.

Yes, the gas is crap and causes all kinds of problems. I can still find the odd station with ethanol free premium but it’s hit and miss and expensive. I used to mix it with 100LL avgas in my Se5a but I always tested it first.

They must not export them here as I’ve never seen nor heard of one. Isn’t it amazing how all new vehicles look so similar these days? I remember when you could tell at a glance which manufacturer built a vehicle. Even if you didn’t know the model, you could recognize the manufacturer.
