Ok .. A little different but I’m pretty sure we have some real car enthusiasts here to support this thread. So
let’s give this new thread a try .
Here’s my entry .
A 2008 Shelby GT 500. Presently with 575 HP at the rear wheel as per a Dyno test.
With a hand signed dash board plaque from Carol Shelby back in 2008 before his passing .

Wish we had the climate to drive this stuff year round. I finished my mustang in 2012 and I’ve put 15000 miles on it:(

The main thing here is the road salt. Looking at the forecast for the next two weeks looks miserable anyway, and by then they’ll probably start salting. In the spring, even though it may be warm and dry, I wait until we’ve had a couple good rains to wash away the salt.

Can imagine, had a feeling you'd mention the salt as that's what was on my mind.

Same here. I've hated taking any of my past classics out when the roads have been salted and avoid it at all costs now.

That’s what originally killed all these classics in the first place. Well, that and the fact that they were built with shit steel to begin with. I remember back in the seventies everything on the road was full of holes. Be lucky to get 5 years out of a new car. Rare to see a badly rusted out car here these days. It was great for us as teenagers. Most of the engines, transmissions, rear ends etc could be had for a song from the wrecking yards. And all with very low mileage. Different times. Hard pressed to even find a wrecking yard around here anymore. Most have shut down.

Absolutely magnificent!
I had two variants of the French army Hotchkiss brand, one olive and the other sand, extraordinary vehicles marked by the imprint of History.
I would have liked to have a Willys but these days it is clearly overpriced, which is annoying given the number produced, and that most have remained in Europe.
