Yes ! As you said , time will tell ! It gives us the opportunity to apreciate the relativeness of temporality . By our days everything as to go fast , consumption above all , . I'm happy with that , by the mean time I will have all the time to give a good patina on my brand new ELC . By having too much jackets there is no time to break them in and give hem good natural patina. In fact my very 1st A2 was bought less than a year ago !!! 'till that day I own 5 .. It's a little beat too much too fast , I have to calm down and just appreciate the ones I got . I've read all the disclaimers in the BK mails , about the time to wait , not to send too much messages etc . At least it indicates the color ! Thank you . I think your jacket will get better and better and shape your body very well with time and you will be pleased to have the possibility to wear it even in very cold weather , with a good sweater and a cool scarf .

Definitely start by getting the jacket wet though. The horsehide BK uses has a tendency to shrink, normally by half an inch to an inch in every direction. It’d be a shame to gain weight and then have the jacket shrink as you wear it beyond where you want it to.
