Cracking pairing, Peter. How is that M444A feeling now? I bet it's a dream on a cool, late winters evening.
It's fantastic, versatile, comfy, miles better than my anj4 and b3 ever was.they felt really restrictive, love wearing this with just a tee shirt or lightweight shirt.i could have saved a fortune if i had just bought this right at the beginning of my jacket journey.

I won't need to post here that often, as there's one main answer for me recently - my VF Sportswear A2/G-1 hybrid (or is it a modern-day ANJ3, perhaps) - almost the exact same as this one in size 42 https://www.vintageleatherjackets.o...le-different-a-hybrid-of-flight-jackets.28207

I got it in very good second-hand condition last year for only 90 pounds or so off ebay - thanks to this forum teaching me what to look out for!

It's an ideal daily wear for me - looks good without people thinking I'm a poser (too much), has enough pocket space, durable and hard-wearing enough for daily physical work as well as smart enough for the office, keeps the wind off while not too warm either (my body reacts oddly to British weather now after so many years in Germany - or maybe I'm just aging), fits me really well other than the handwarmer & welt pockets bulging out; the only thing I would add is a pen slot like the G-1 has.

I stopped wearing my Nomex jackets as often due to how unbreathable they are (my skin needs to breath more than I need warmth, especially in humid Britain) and keep my nicer jacket(s) for social occasions so having something that fits the look, didn't break the bank and won't break my heart with wear and tear is a win in my book!
