1970 dated RCAF Jacket, Flying, Man’s, Type IV.
I know there are others who don’t see the utility of these short jackets in cold weather for civilians, but the key is to wear a size or two taller than your actual height. I’m able to wear this comfortably on -30 C days without issue and the silky soft mouton collar is fantastic for warming the cheeks when necessary.

Thanks for the kind words Chris, Jan, and Lorenzo. This is the piece that has convinced me to downsize to just Good Wear within the leather jacket portion of my collection.

I'm selling the BK Star A-2, Sheeley AN-J-3A, and as much as it kills me the BR AN-6552. I've messaged Stainer to see if he wants the Buzz jacket as I know that he'll get more use out of it going forward than I will. This Switlik is exactly what I've been searching for in a USN jacket.
