Despite the off frost it has been generally mild here, as it has been wet of late the lawn grass is still growing. I had yet to cut the last lawn in the background.Well, I just did my last cut a week ago and I’m in Canada

That's one terrific coat, Smithy!Busted this out today. Love this thing, hugely comfortable to wear, and based on some of the sheepskin lined private-purchase fabric flying coats from WWI. Fun jacket and looks great with a submariner jumper.

I should mention that like most fabric/leather WWI flying coats it's belted but I've secured the belt at the back as I didn't feel like having it belted - I do the same often with my Aero Barnstormer.
My wife LOVES it which is a major plus, she calls it my Lord Flashheart jacket bless her
Actually women here seem to like it as I've gotten quite a few lovely comments from the fairer sex when I wear it. I suppose it makes a change from all the parkas and puffy down jackets that people usually wear when the weather gets cold.

It is difficult to judge how a coat is cut before it is placed on the body. The surface is so large that even when it is bent for example it seems straight when it is hung. And , yes , I confirm about the nice comments from ladies when you wear a coat , I got a USAAF blue one from 1951 , great fitted cut and long , it flatters the figure and slims !!! Yours is very elegant.

First outing in Fivestar Werber D-1. Not as warm as I thought it would be, but it is very comfortable since it is pretty light and roomy. Looooooooong arms though!

A parka from my Trip to Detroit and Dayton:
It’s a 60 yo Skyline Clothing, probably never worn. Front and inside are absolutely pristine, as is the hood, fur and knits. It was Not stored very good, which resulted in some stains on the back and some nasty rips in the fabric. Had to get them (visibly) stitched, but for 180 $ this was a great steal.
