Thanks DanyIt looks like the liner has aged faster than the rest. Even the zipper and tape looks pristine, knits looks strong and clean and that skin is in an amazing condition.

PeteAwesome Burt. Must be extra rare in that size?
If I may, I believe it’s this :
The guy would have been a mountain back then. Clint walker size.Pete
I have to measure it out but I think that it’s a size 50 which would be very rare for an original A2
Thanks Steve!A 50 or near enough I reckon. A beauty if I may be so bold.
On the money sir! First GW to enter my possession. A jacket J.C had been wearing around for a while, offered for a price I couldn't refuse.
Very cool. Are you going to get your license? Not cool enough for jackets, but a perfect day for an intro ride to helicopter flight training. 80 degrees and breezy

That will be awesome. I looked into when I started my fixed wing commercial in 1980 but it was just too expensive. Also, back then the only helicopter jobs were generally waaaay more north than I cared to be. Hudson Bay, arctic etc. Things are better now but too late for me. Congrats. Enjoy the journey. It’ll be a blast. That's the plan, still in the shit or get off the pot phase but hopefully I can make it work.
