Who was the maker again on that? Thanks my mind needs refreshing sometimes.

This jacket was made by Cockpit it belonged to my father got it as inheritance stuff and was way too big ... Refurbished by 5 * with the correct buckles zipper and russet horsehide facing and straps. They made a real good job on this jacket.

Cockpit ya. I didn't see the leather on that as five star. It looks pretty aged. Ya, good job on the refurbishing. Is there only one strap on the throat strap?

No there is 2 straps yes it looks old the finish on the leather look crackled and aged . but the merino sheepskin is nice and warm.

Very nice! Thanks for that Cowboy. I have an original Aero and during the war they made a point of taking off the straps. To the point you would never know they were there. Mostly they didn't use them. So I think they just took them off to not have them in the way flapping around in their face. I mean it takes some effort to actually use them and most of the time they would be too busy to make the effort.

The fleece is nearly the same colour as my Aero B3 might be the flashlight
