I'm still about 6 to 8 weeks out at least before I can wear my A-2 out but threw it on inside today and noticed my left cuff has a hole
I don't recall catching it on anything... probably just rubbed on something... perhaps my Elgin

thanks. Had been wanting an Elgin A-11 and got it last year. mid 1943 and in pretty good condition, keeps accurate time unless it lays flat on a table then it gains a few minutes a day but oddly keeps perfect time if displayed vertically or stays on my wrist. probably needs another cleaning. I got it on fearbay and all authentic but most likely a restored/ rebuild but I just wanted a functional era Elgin so... got it for less than $300 so I was happy considering its a daily wearer.
