If it's Kay canvas then it should be pretty well built (judging by the "leather jerkin" and Denison smocks I've bought off them)

I'm happy to second that. I'm surprised Kay Canvas gear does not get more of a mention on here but it's probably more down to their location rather than the quality of their gear.
