Looks great. Enjoy! My new to me (thanks to a fellow member) GW Bronco. My first GW and my first seal. Well except for an Avirex from the 80’s, but I don’t count that.View attachment 78728
Funny, I was just pondering a bronco when you advertised it. And we’re anatomical twins. Some might say it was meant to be.Looks great. Enjoy!
Big congrats, Jan! This is a jacket you will keep forever. Looking forward to seeing the patina it acquires in a few decades.Hah, thanks. It was in History, focusing on Rome.

Doctor Jones.... Doctor Jones...wake up now!Hope you get an opportunity to teach like another leather clad scholar:
Well, taking inspiration from him, today I’m wearing the jacket that got me into this insane hobby, the BK Relic Hunter:I don't think the teacher is at fault here -- other than being hunky.

Looks fantastic Jan!
My father had a lovely Indiana Jones jacket when I was a wee lad.....got it from some mob in the UK and it was tough as teak, which I would love in a modern jacket.....no idea what happened to the thing (which wouldn't have fitted me anyway)
Haha yeah I know all about lambskin.... and I'm sure wested wasn't the brand dad's was?Well, if you're interested, the original makers still offer them, and they're one of the more budget-friendly options out there. The originals were lambskin (definitely not tough, which is an advantage in the film industry), but they offer them in cow and goat as well. https://www.wested.com/
Stunning colour, stunning fit. Hopefully it will get the tiger stripe wear over time, just like the original…Threw on a GW Acme 21996 today.
JC made the jacket in Russett Horsehide and then put a light coat of reddish depot re-dye over the top. As the jacket breaks in the russet undercoat will bleed thru resembling the early Aero re-dyes. The color changes with indoor Vs outdoor light.
