Your pants are more likely part of the U.S,. Amy OG -107 combat uniform. Hence the Talon zipThanks Jan.
These are French army fatigue pants from the 1950s that I found in a military surplus. The waist is really high (perfect for the cyclist jacket) and the comfort is great.
I have to admit that I only wear these pants for photos, it's a bit of a strange cut for the uninitiated... but maybe that's just in my mind !
I just noticed that there is a Talon zip on these pants.
Ok ! It seems that the seller was mistaken.Your pants are more likely part of the U.S,. Amy OG -107 combat uniform. Hence the Talon zip
That's been my experience as well. When you grow up with low-waisted trousers, vintage styles take some getting used to. I'm at the point where I wear high-waisted trousers most days now and don't think much of it, but I think pants that rest on the hips will always feel more natural to me.Thanks Jan.

Good Wear - it was a jacket John made for himself, but found to be a bit too small. Bought it from him last October.Same here. 8 c yesterday. Minus 10 next 2 days, plus 12 next week. What make is your b-6?
Nice. I have the Eastman b-6 and love it. Pretty common to use sheepskin covers on pilots seats in commercial aircraft.Good Wear - it was a jacket John made for himself, but found to be a bit too small. Bought it from him last October.
Winter has returned here, so back to the B-6.
That Qwik zip on your B6 is dope!
Amazing how a quality product can hold up when it’s taken care of. I doubt there will be any mall bought Chinese leather jackets lasting 80 years.Rocking the first of two Bronco contracts, this one from 1943. Kinda cool to think a 79 year old jacket is being worn on the streets where it was made!

It might be more accurate to say the tanners who made the leather got away with a ton of different colors. The government basically told the tanneries it wanted "medium brown," or something similar. This led to shades that were all over the map.I always wondered how the manufacturers got away with the 2 completely different colours on the a-2. Considering it was part of a military uniform.
