London City airport is closed. It's not been too bad here in East London as I expect all the high rises to the West are sheltering us. Nothing like the great storm of '87, now that was a howler...
Hi MikeThat is really a stunning jacket. Werber's 33-1729 remains to be my favorite A-2. When did you acquire it/how old is it?
Cheers

I spent a few years in Blankenese, we never saw the Elbe look like that! Wow!Hey Jan,
here is something that has never happened before in Hamburg:
Yesterdays storm brought really high wind and waves to the city's harbor...one of the waves crushed the front window of a small harbor ferry...

EDIT: By the way, we are not talking about a normal sea harbor here...Hamburg is at the river Elbe, the North Sea is roughly 100 kms further away..
Time for some ELC 55J14 wear today. Various bits and bobs to be done and if an action back was favoured by Clarke Gable, as I've read, it's good enough for meView attachment 75089

I hope that you dont mind my observation , but in that photo you have a distinct resemblance to Dick Winters !, great jacket .63 degrees in NJ, today. So, wearing my Good Wear 1941 Werber Contract # 42-1402-P, their last contract, in contrast to Burt's 1933 Werber, their first contract.

Ah yes, the warm expression that says "I've still got power after Storm Eustice" when my friends pop round to borrow some 'lecy and charge up their devices
Never occurred to me. I think it's the eye shape.I hope that you dont mind my observation , but in that photo you have a distinct resemblance to Dick Winters !, great jacket .
Great look Jan !On a balmy late-winter day, out posing with @Nnatalie ’s shadow while wearing the BK Star and sugar cane 1947s:
