Hi Ties and Thomas
Regarding the HBT pants I was wearing in that photo, yes there were relatively new as well . “ At The Front “ had a sale on them about 2 years ago and I picked up a few pairs at what ever the sale price was at that time .

Reproduction of the standard issue WW2 US Army fatigue trousers. Made from 100% cotton herringbone twill cloth, in olive drab no. 7 shade, this was the most common field and work jacket used during the conflict. Designed directly from original samples, our trousers are exactly like those from 1943.www.atthefront.com
Hi Burt,
so good to see you back on your feet!
And please, add some info about the HBT pants... ;-)
@Thomas Koehle : I might have a piece of mouton for you. It's more dark brown than reddish, but if you want, I can send you a picture...

Who’s the maker of your L-2b?It maxed out here at 62 degrees, which is totally unheard of here in the Pacific Northwest. I wore my L2B for the first time in public.
You can't see, but the t-shirt is for the NASA 'crawler' that I got from JSC-Houston.

My wife got this a half hour ago on the back 40 of our yard...
Sorry, I should have posted that. It's a Jinruishi. Hardly a high end repro but I like how it looks and feels, for a very affordable price.Who’s the maker of your L-2b?
I think it looks good on you and the price, as you mentioned, is very affordable .Sorry, I should have posted that. It's a Jinruishi. Hardly a high end repro but I like how it looks and feels, for a very affordable price.
