Supposed to be relatively warm today, and it's already 68 F (20 C), so it was time for a jacket without cuffs. BK Raiders jacket. The character of the striated lambskin really stands out in the sunlight.

The matte version of the CWU36-P is a much better version, in my opinion. Apparently, the frayed stitching problem that used to plague the shiny version of the jacket is a thing of the past with the matte version.

That’s very interesting . What leathers are easier to paint on and which ones are a problem? For instance is cowhide easier than Horsehide or goatskin?

Horsehide is the easier, cowhide very easy too. Goatskin, when too grainy is not very good to have clear details. The worst are all fake patinas or 'shiny' leather: true nightmare!
