It was very mild today for February, I chose to wear an A-2 but changed my mind when I went outside.Love jacket and weather conditions.
It’s 82 F or 27.7 degrees C , here today . Too damn hot for jackets

Sploosh. What Squadron? Look like Aussie made patches...
Sploosh. What Squadron? Look like Aussie made patches...
I once had a custom embroidered patch made up for a special work project, always wondered if they might take on squadron repros. And yeah, they did chenille (like yours*) as well.I wish I could find someone who does repros of those Aussie style patches, as they're nothing like the painted leather patches that you normally see reproduced.
Sell em .... you might make enough for another 5 Star or GW...12 ‘never get worn’ jackets just got relocated to attic...

Surprising how warm the Platon Dubow is worn over the 5 button wool combat sweater and wool enlisted man's shirt.

They are. It’s good to hear a top tier collector praising Platons Dubow.I'm sure it'll look great! The new russet hides he's using look first rate.
A relatively new member has made them in the past.... lots of his older patches in the art/patches thread....It's the 498th bomb squadron, 345th bomb group, stationed initially in Australia before moving on to New Guinea, if I recall. I wish I could find someone who does repros of those Aussie style patches, as they're nothing like the painted leather patches that you normally see reproduced.
