Of course, I have this book and several times I carefully examined the photo of this jacket cause I love early B15s.
And now I know the guy who own this jacket .

Received the GW Monarch... It is a lovely jacket, rich russet shinki with lots of grain variation. Has some light scuffs, but is in otherwise clean, excellent condition.
This is tagged a 46, but as you can see it 'almost' fits me at 5'10 40" chest and 72kgs! Damn, it was close.
The fit-pics look good, but let me tell you, its one size too big on me.
This is really a large 42 or 44. Going to take more pics and place on sales page.

I dunno Brett, looks good to me! Maybe a tad generous in the chest, but well within period accuracy. You could layer a thin sweater under it on colder days.

Yeah, I know the pics tell that story.
But wearing it, it feels too big, way too much room in the torso for me. I could wear a jumper and a denim jacket under it.
With all the other jackets I have, that fit so well... I'll just not wear this.

I agree . It looks like a wartime fit on you. However, if you’re not going to wear it there’s no use hanging onto it. Shame , GWs don’t come along that often these days.
