What jacket(s) are you wearing at the moment?

Thanks - interest is always there (at least for my part). But at the moment no need for more pics - I was just surprised by the brown color. I used to have a Concord CWU un dark brown when I was young in the mid 90s. But nothing beats a brown leather jacket. :)

I hear you. For me it’s light windbreaker time this warm afternoon. Moon gazing tonight will be in a B-3, though.

I have yet to wear my CWU 36 which I bought off eBay for the first time. It is getting too warm for leather or sheep hair here.

Test jacket? Are they saying the AF tried out jackets in brown? Or is this another case of the sons of Nippon and ‘yeah, it never really existed, but it looks cool so what the Hell’? And to be fair, it does look cool. Not seen anything similar myself.

Let us know how it goes. If it gets too warm outside, a 36/P can get really sweaty, I presume. It probably doesn’t breathe well. Send a pix, when poss.

Mikey, I have no clue. It probably was a marketing stint. It does feel like a regular BR L-2. And I got it on sale with major reduction in price. Call me cheap:)

Nice jackets, but I know which one I'd choose.... the bottle of Spitfire in the background !
I got one this morning when shopping, thankfully the muppets hadn't been panic buying those and it will go nicely with my curry on Saturday evening.

Weather is warming up in Northern Germany, pleasant spring at about 17 °C. It's L-2 time. Luxury Problem, which one to choose?

A solution will be found, I am sure. I'll probably change mind when I am about to get into the car, go back and switch. Isolation life, never a dull day.

Ha. That's one of those peanutbutterbrown Buzz L-2's right? I never knew whether to buy one or not, so decided to wait until one will show up cheapisher on the 'Bay. Weren't they being sold like five years ago? Since then seen only one on ebay.

As I type this I wear my Aero 15142-P Real Deal with George Preddy 352nd FG, 487th FS patches. I painted the Donald Duck. The 487th "lil bastard" patch is pretty accurate hand embroidered but not exactly accurate. Closer than I've seen in most cases. I had the zipper replaced with NOS M-42 Talon zipper. I used to wear this jacket since I got it in 2006 a lot. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I patched it. Now I think I find that I feel a little self conscience in a way about wearing it. Used to be a nice looking jacket nobody really thinks that much about, and then you put patches on it and people think you are some kind of geek who thinks he's a WW2 pilot or something.
