I just like it that's all. It usually lives up in the mountain cabin but I've had it down here with me in town since before Christmas and I've been surprised with how useful it's been here as well.

I had to go out earlier in the car and get some paracetamol for me and the kids and it was 0 and snowing. I went out wearing only an old rugby jersey and was still sweating like a hooker in church from this damn fever.

I've decided I'm going to hit the scotch as nothing else is working!

Got a cupboard full of Vegemite thankfully Couchy. That's the first thing family and friends send which is lucky because my eldest was 4 when we left Oz so she has to have Vegemite on toast for breakfast most days. It's not popular with her classmates when she takes it in her lunchbox with Vegemite sandwiches ;-)

Mate I've knocked over half a bottle already. If I start to make not a lot of sense (well less than I usually do) you know the Smithy ship has sunk and I'm on my way out.

My flu feels better but I'm not sure whether that's because I'm pissed as a parrot or the scotch has done something mediciinal.
