Thanks John
Not too long ago, one of the owners passed away and Panther Store discontinued the Allied uniforms i.e. the Battledress. Really a shame because it certainly was the best available. The website is still up in Czech language which is a bit difficult to understand...but they do sell German, Austrian and Czechoslovakian uniforms .Their British Battledress is the best on the market.
Here a few of my original Pattern 37 Denim battle dresses.Their British Battledress is the best on the market.

Not only... they had their ID N# ( Stammrollen Nr) stamped in, since back to base they gave it to a special laundry service... plus the rank and breast eagle loops... plus the special rigging of the buttons and special buckle...Just a button switch and voilá.
1000% agree... only a trained and expert eye can make the difference...I was referring to the Germans back in the day... I am sure that there are dubious types out there that could replicate or consolidate period insignia for an 'original' to move on to an unsuspecting buyer.
