And here are the fit pics. The jacket is fairly stiff but I assume wearing it will loosen it up a little. It is a size 38. I have tried the 40 before but that just hung like a rag from my shoulders.
I still have rooms for a sweater underneath.

Looks great in you! Do you wear a size 38 usually too?
I can remember when I tried a size 46 at Duxford some years ago and the jacket seemed a size too big on me...I am wearing 46 usually...

That depends on the jacket... I have jackets from 38 to 42.

Hehe, just like me...but for leather jackets, size 46 seems to be established...the ones that are differently sized are the deck jackets and the light weight L-2a...

Earl, it’s a good great jacket. But please, for your own sake and joy, operate that zipper very, very delicately. It absolutely is weakest part of that garment. I just busted mine a couple of days ago although I have been very cautious since 2007. The zipper needed to be repaired within two weeks which ELC did and now I need a new slider stop, the metal thing that needs to be inserted into the bottom cloth piece. I am waiting on ELC to contact me back with options from the zipper specialist. Check your top fit pix for the zipper. Good luck and enjoy! B.
