Like all fair dinkum-dinky-die Aussies you must run cold Couchy. I could only ever wear my Irvin in the very coldest evening in the garden back in Melbourne. 15 degrees in it and I would have passed out.

M-422a Yesterday, A-2 today...
Still too warm most of the times for the sheep or alpacas here...
(Wore the N-1 deck jacket though for the walk with the dogs yesterday evening as it was raining a bit and a little windy...the N-1 is perfect for that kind of weather in autumn...)

the jacket style is called a "Harrington" and it's available from different makers. A well-known one is BARACUTA. Theirs is called the G9 jacket...
Mine is from the Brighton, England, based shop "JUMP THE GUN". It's made in the UK, costs only 50 GBP (while original Baracuta's are 4-5 times as pricey), and it is simply a terrific bargain for that price.

when I got my pair I had to endure that everyone around me called these boots "my bowling shoes". They are - and I could look back on my experiences with other makers and styles (RW, Whites, Chippewa) - the most comfortable boots I own...
They were actually not my taste in the beginning as well....it was one of the few moments I listened to my wife's "fashion advice". She wanted me to get something different than the third pair of RW Beckman's...
