Agreed with j on your jacket meach ,aren't all the knits like this from ELC. J .yeah they not goodLooks good. My only complaint with my ELC monarch is the crappy wrist knits.
Vicsay, b-man, those jinrushi l-2b jacs aint to shabby, are they? at $100+- ya get a lotta bang for the buck there. and no delivery vig, no customs vig. i dolled mine up with vintage edwards afb patches.
Wet and cold in Vienna today...perfect for the BR Deck Hook Jacket...
Sorry for the dirty mirror though...
Thanks for the feedback!!!Thank you very much!
They do indeed run on the large size. Mine is a size 42 but I could have most probably taken a 40 too. It depends on how snug you want to wear the jacket and what you want to be able to wear underneath it...for the records I usually wear 46 or 44, depending on the cut of the jacket and the lining... according to the guys at History Preservation, they also recommend to go down two sizes from your usual jacket size, so 42 seems appropriate though if you are a regular 46 wearer...
Oops I did it again
Popped this in the washer over the weekend, cold, no soap and no spin. Fleece feels a touch denser, but that could be my imagination and there's a bit more grain on the leather, not a lot though. I'm pleased with the result, no disasters, not a lot of change though either, ah well it made for an interesting couple of days.
Nearly dry, just giving it a try over breakfast

Thomastodays choice Shawn-5* M422 with BOB DONG USN vest
Pants are PIKE BROTHERS, boots RED WING (obviously), Sweater noname, red splashes on the Sweater are "no 6a" on the menu (Vietnamese sweet-sour soup), and Emma our chinese Lab (brought over from Beijing when i was still working there)
markings are done by JOSH (think some fellas on the Forum know his works)
not as creative as Ties but not bad anyway
sorry for that "sour pickles face" but i had to look straight into the sun ...
