Wearing my D1 visited this place.
Brief story is, he was a midschool teacher before the war, and escaped occupation zone immediately after IJA token over shanghai at 1937.
Joined ROCAF , during next 7 years, he

get thru everything and graduate as flight sgt, token part in 22 combat mission , official score is 2.75, and saddly killed in accident at June 1945.

He was among those Hump pilots , during 1940 to 1943, that’s why he didn’t have much chance token part in combat mission.

Selling it was not a hard decision, because it didn’t fit me, but man, I do miss that one.

SM, thanks for sharing that. It’s good to remember (and learn about!) these sacrifices.
That makes two of us Jan.... who's 18091's slipped through their paws.

Would take another one in a heartbeat, beautiful contract.

As you well know Jan, when I need a new A-2 it's going to be a Poughkeepsie.

John and I had a chat about them years back and he said he thought it's one of the best contracts for comfort and a sharp looking profile.

Easily the most under-rated A-2 contract.
