I'm actually embarrassed to say that for many years I didn't get/believe it.then I received my m-444A,,completely changed my mind,plus it's the personal touch, conversations with john when he didn't need to,giving me the back story to my jacket etc,just a terrific experience that makes all the difference.

Exactly. I'll admit as well, it was only in the past couple years, I kept seeing these jackets that look like nothing else. Now, I'll say there are many a beautiful jacket to grace this forum from many a top tier maker but there was something else about these damn jackets I was seeing.

Then, just like yourself, I got the conversation started with the man himself. Need I say any more?

I once had a second hand GW A-2, still with Aero label instead of Acme roundabout 13 years ago. Because it was a little snug I sold it.
The jacket was great and obviously of top quality but honestly I had no idea that it's maker would have a godlike status sometime just had a Eastman RW1401 before...

Not a flight jacket nor made from leather but vintage anyway. I just thought I could to a thread about my Charkow Parka Replica. When it is cool I can wear an A2, a G1 or a Cyclist jacket for example... when it is colder I can wear a B10 or a N1 jacket when it's even colder i can wear a B3 or a...

The entire kit looks great Jan, but the jacket and glove combo is absolutely killer. I've loved seeing the M-444's and M-445's on here recently. It's a shame that they don't get as much love as B-6's and B-3's. That RMNZ looks especially great.
