it is a traditional farmer/ peasant knife of the AUBRAC a LAGUIOLE with a blade tapered a handle in cow horn and a corkscrew. We recognized these knives thanks to the bee on the bolster and the cross of the shepherd on the handle. The story says that the shepherd planted the knife in the ground at the time of the angelus and said a prayer... The homemade by myself leather case was hand stitched with linen thread.

I have several laguiole folders. Some older, some newer. I always keep one in whatever back pack that I’m using at the time. One has to remember, they do not lock, so you have to use them with that in mind. All in all, they are very versatile and handy.

the brand is called "Bugatti". this brand is sold in better quality shoe shops here in Austria with prices ranging between 100,- and 150,- Euros, depending on the shoe.
quality is really good and they are comfortable to wear as well.
