I wore the Irvin out yesterday for the Valentine's dinner with my SHMBO as it was surprisingly cold in the evening and the Irvin let me wear just a nice shirt and tie underneath without the need for a pullover.

today I took my 37J1 out but used the navy kind of liner aka CPO shirt underneath.
a great combination, comparable in warmth to a B Style cloth alpaca USAAF jacket...
