Just tried this on today after many years of sitting in a trunk. Yes, I know it needs some TLC, but the character is as good as it gets for me. I'm not sure of what this style is referred as, I know its from WW II, my uncle wore it in Indian theatre.
FYI, I know almost nothing about these jackets. I thought it was from WWII, I may be mistaken. Do you know if this is authentic flight jacket from that era or is it off the rack - post war? That overall style, but not necessarily your particular jacket, is often described here as, “mall.”
80s "civilian" jacket?FYI, I know almost nothing about these jackets. I thought it was from WWII, I may be mistaken. Do you know if this is authentic flight jacket from that era or is it off the rack - post war?
Thanks in dvance for your response.
Tough to say - we'd need more and closer photos, especially of the zipper. I'm inclined to say '80s as well, but it could be post-war.FYI, I know almost nothing about these jackets.
