here are mine.
Not an A-11 but pretty nice little watches on their own. So called "Ord. dept." watches from ww2. I restorated both a few years ago with original parts. I don't changed the yellowed glas on the Elgin as I wanted it keep original and it has the rare tropical watch strap that was issued in the pacific theater. Bravo!Well the authorities decided to print a radiation warning symbol on military watches around the beginning of the 70s to make the wearer aware that there's some unhealthy stuff in their watches.
But in fact (and I can tell cause I'm a keen watchmaker / collector for ages) the amount of radium and the radiation it produces is so low that you have to wear 20 of that watches on each arm to make you feel a little bit strange.
Bravo!
Can only second that!
Your aircon’s ( fridge,car, living space )
have more toxic emanation on your daily intake and consumption of “contaminated “goods. Plus the sun generates daily more “ nuclear power” on you and your little absorbing skin surface, than 1000 of those hands and markers ( under glass anyway ) ...
No worries, just enjoy, collect and wear it with pride... unless you want to become 470 years old and accumulate enough RA to start to glow in the night.
