Washing sheepskin jackets

Hi everyone,
i'm using this thread to ask a question regarding the maintenance of my Schott B3 257S that I got 3 years ago (let's say it's new).
They tell me that it doesn't require maintenance but to me these "drier" and lighter areas make me think that they can only get worse as time goes by. I always wear it as soon as the temperatures allow it (sometimes even if it's not too cold because it's my favorite jacket), even in the car while I'm driving and this could have caused excessive wear on the leather.
What can I do to make it more like "new" or delay its "aging"?

Here some photos:

That's how those jackets age. Looks perfectly fine. If you want you can use a leather conditioner like RM Williams Saddle and Leather Dressing or Peckards which will darken the outside shell somewhat. Usually this isn't permanent.

If it was me I'd condition it and keep using and enjoying it.

Welcome to VLJ BTW.

Yes, i know that these jacket will look fine with a bit of wear but i am afraid that after only 3 years i can see the process. Beacuse this is a life jackets i would treat it very well but wearing it! I read about B3 with 35-40 years or much...

What do you use to spread the conditioner on the jacket? Could you explain the phases? Do you do it at the end of the winter season before putting it away in the wardrobe or before?

Thanks!!
