I've received a few sets from him now and prefer them to MASH.

This is real beauty, Brice.

It's incredible to see NOS dark brown collar fur. As you know, it is on this contract that it usually fades to a beautiful rusty color.

Also the first time I've seen a belt like the one on earlier G1s. On mine, and on everyone jackets from this contract that I saw no top border on belt.

Maybe the used old rib-rack stock, what was at hand.

My '68 D series BB had the 2 ply.

101% agree… plus a contract year , does not necessarily mean year of fabrication…hence the early ones may have had other knits and liner than the later 68’s..
