Very rare N-3A version

Gone, but not forgotten.

This contract used the leftover N-3 brown mouton on the inside hood and white wolf fur.

It was the first N-3A contract, and it's also known with blue hood lining ... presumably the brown finally ran out half way through.

Guy in the middle has one, right? And there's a 'blue' one on the far right, too.

Yes. They had the same deal going with the shorter N-2A jackets. I'm still up in the air as to what kind of fur was used. These earlier N-2A and N-3A contracts the utilized real fur seem to have a different kind than typical coyote fur utilized on the other olive and sage jackets. Looks more like wolf fur.
